However, because of their poor financial strength, they are unable to convert their entrepreneurial dream into reality. The women in particular have taken to the idea and have come forward to form self- help groups (SHGs) in their respective villages. The main purpose of SHGs besides their regular small savings in the group, they avail easy credit facilities in substantial amount to meet their day to day requirement as well as for small business enterprises through many non banking financial companies. This study has been conducted by the researcher through Sakthi finance Ltd., to know the feasibility study on self-help group in respective areas, and the finance companies which involved in the micro-finance facility.
